Couple Therapy
Explore Couplehood
I believe in the power of love and connection and the fundamental importance of relationship to being human. We learn how to relate to others from the time we are born and carry this attachment style into our most intimate relationships. Our love relationships are often fraught with challenge or heartache as we find ourselves struggling to feel heard or understood, betrayed, or deceived by our partner. We say hurtful things we don’t mean or have difficulty apologizing when we hurt the one we love. And yet, we all persevere in the quest to love and be loved.
I can help you and your partner with:
- Communication
- Emotional intimacy
- Sexual intimacy
- Infidelity
- Deception
- Family dynamics
- Gender roles
- Life transitions
- Loss or illness of a child
- Navigating conflict
- Problem solving
- Anxiety
- Depression
I can meet in person or by video conferencing:
While my primary means of practice is face to face, I do use Telehealth as a supplement to in-office visits. It has become an alternative way of maintaining therapeutic connection through distance, either when I am not available in my physical office or for my clients who are unable to make it to an appointment but still want to meet. Telehealth is conducted via video-conferencing on a secure, HIPAA compliant portal. It is essentially like Facetime but encrypted to protect confidentiality.
Fees
Please contact me for rates and participating insurance networks. I will gladly respond to your email but prefer phone conversation for initial appointment inquiries, consultation, and questions about fees for service. I accept cash, check, and credit cards for payment options.
